March 8 (SeeNews) - British renewable energy company Hive Energy has secured a 19 million pound ($24.4 million/22.3 million euro) bank guarantee facility from Spanish bank Santander, supported by UK Export Finance, to support new and ongoing projects in Turkey and Serbia, the UK government said.
“We now have additional financial capacity to ramp up activity in Turkey, Serbia and other territories helping us to deliver clean energy more quickly and more widely in our mission to reduce global carbon emissions,” Hive Energy CFO, Roy Naismith, was cited as saying in a press release published by the UK government earlier this week.

Last March, Hive Energy said it is planning to develop fourteen projects in Serbia with a total capacity of 2.2 gigawatts (GW).
Established in 2010, Hive Energy offers large-scale sustainable green energy solutions, the company has already established projects in seventeen countries.
