January 8 (SeeNews) - Foreign tourist arrivals to Croatia totalled 213,488 in November, an increase of 15.9% compared to the same month of 2022, the statistical office said on Monday.
The number of overnights spent by foreign tourist in Croatia dipped 0.2% on the year, to 525,165 in November, the statistical office said in a monthly report.
Local tourist arrivals increased 10.9% on the year to 155,309, and the number of overnights by local tourists went up 8.4% to 297,971 in November.
Foreign tourist arrivals to Croatia reached 15.3 million in 2022, up 44% compared to 2021.
Tourism is a key industry for the economy of the Adriatic country, contributing a fifth of the country's GDP.
