SOFIA (Bulgaria), March 14 (SeeNews) – Electricity distribution company EVN Bulgaria said on Monday it will install by the beginning of May a 10 million lev ($7.1 million/5.1 million euro) steam turbine at its cogeneration unit in Bulgaria’s second largest city of Plovdiv. The purchase of the 19 megawatt (MW) turbine, manufactured by German engineering group Siemens, is part of a 100 million lev cogeneration project being developed by EVN Bulgaria unit EVN Bulgaria Toplofikatsia, the power distributor said in a statement.
