December 22 (SeeNews) - The European Commission will disburse 1.2 billion euro ($1.3 billion) to Bulgaria from its Just Transition Fund (JTF) to help create new jobs and economic activities in the regions of Stara Zagora, Kyustendil and Pernik, which face significant socio-economic challenges from phasing out coal, it said.
