The initiative adds key cities to Epsilon’s network, including Istanbul in Turkey, Kyiv in Ukraine, Prague in Czechia, Rome in Italy, Bulgaria's Sofia, Austria's Vienna, Poland's Warsaw and Croatia's Zagreb, as well as Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo in Brazil, Neterra said in a press release.
Epsilon’s international customers can access the markets without a physical presence via the company's network as a service (NaaS) platform, Infiny. Local businesses can also use the platform via points of presence (PoPs), tapping into Epsilon’s on-demand global connectivity and driving digital transformation across the region.
"We are seeing increasing demands from customers for network reach all across Europe, particularly in Turkey. It is great to add Istanbul to our global footprint to meet this demand, as well as a number of other high-growth markets across the continent," Epsilon director of digital strategy and business development Mark Daley said.
Founded in 2003, Epsilon Telecommunications is part of South Korea’s largest telecommunications company, KT Corporation, and has offices in London, Singapore and Sofia. Its network ecosystem includes over 300 PoPs and more than 600 technology partners globally.
Sofia-headquartered Neterra, founded in 1996, owns and operates four data centres and a global network of more than 220 locations across over 65 countries. The company also owns NetIX, a global internet exchange platform.
Last month, Neterra said it deployed its infrastructure in the Equinix SG1 data centre in Singapore and set up a subsidiary there, Neterra APAC PTE. LTD, expanding into the Asia Pacific region.
