The sale and purchase agreement was finalized on Monday. The value of the deal was not disclosed.
"Oprema is a company that fits very well into Micro Matic's core business because their strong competencies in cooling equipment complement Micro Matic's products perfectly. This supports our strategic ambitions to be able to develop and offer complete solutions - what we call 'keg to glass' - to our customers, because we are now adding strong competences in the cooling area," said Lars Gjodsbol, CEO at Micro Matic.

The company was established in 1948 and has been owned by the Cvetko family since 1992. Oprema employs close to 300 people. Oprema is the market leader in the cooling sector in Europe, and its products are available in more than 50 markets worldwide, as per the press release.
