June 30 (SeeNews) - Croatian hotel operator Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP-R-A] said on Friday its supervisory board has approved investments totaling 703.84 million kuna ($108.4 million/95 million euro) for 2018.
"The approved investments represent a continuation of the company strategy to reposition the portfolio towards products and services with high added value," Valamar said in a Zagreb bourse filing.
In 2018, the company plans to complete the Valamar Girandella Resort in Rabac, while investments in the Valamar Pinia Family Suites in Porec will also result in a new, luxury family hotel.
The hotel company also plans to invest in its premium camps in Istria and on the island of Krk, while numerous other projects are planned in accordance with the its strategic goals until 2020.
Valamar earlier announced it will invest 2 billion kuna in upgrading its facilities and offer until 2020.
