Croatia's Uljanik Brodogradiliste launches sale of Uljanik Brodogradnja

January 26 (SeeNews) - Croatia's bankrupt shipyard Uljanik Brodogradiliste said that its receiver is inviting expression of interest in the purchase of the company's entire 54.77% equity stake in local shipyard Uljanik Brodogradnja 1856 at a starting price of 27.6 million euro ($30 million).

The deadline for potential investors to submit expression of interest is February 9, by 3 pm local time, according to an announcement published by the receiver on the webiste of Uljanik Brodogradiliste.

The public call is based on a decision of creditors of Uljanik Brodogradiliste to offer the stake for sale in a tender rather than accept the proposal of Czech investor CE Industries for direct negotiations for the transaction.
