The company has submitted an application with the ministry requesting an assessment of the environmental impact of the project, the ministry said in a statement.
The planned wind farm, Otric, will comprise 19 wind turbines of over 6 MW each.
So far, the company owns five wind farms in southern Croatia, according to its website.
In October, Professio Energia signed a term sheet agreement with local company RP Global Projekti, a fully-owned subsidiary of renewable power developer RP Global Austria, to jointly develop a portfolio of eight solar power plants with an overall planned installed capacity of up to 266 Mwp, on the area defined by the existing energy-approved operating wind power plants owned by Professio Energia.
The shares of Professio Energia were listed on the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) in October 2019 but have not traded yet.
