March 3 (SeeNews) - Croatian hotel operator Plava Laguna [ZSE:PLAG] said its consolidated after-tax profit soared to 509 million kuna ($72 million/68 million euro) last year from 152.7 million kuna in 2021.
Adjusted EBITDA rose 52% year-on-year in 2022, to 548.2 million kuna, Plava Laguna said in a filing to the Zagreb bourse earlier this week.
Operating revenue grew to 1.4 billion kuna from 1.0 billion, while operating costs increased to 1.134 billion kuna from 828.2 million.
In 2022, the Plava Laguna group achieved a record high number of overnights, 5.04 million, up 37.7% on the year and 6.1% higher compared to pre-pandemic 2019, on the back of a 15.8% increase in overnights at campsites, it said.
Plava Laguna's shares traded 2.04% higher at 300 euro intraday on Friday on the Zagreb bourse.
