May 8 (SeeNews) - Croatian fertiliser producer Petrokemija [ZSE:PTKM] said on Friday it has temporarily shut down its ammonia plant due to a technical failure.
The plant halted operations on Thursday evening and is expected to resume production after the completion of a technical fault assessment and repair, Petrokemija said in a statement filed with the Zagreb bourse.
It added that its remaining mineral fertiliser plants operate as planned and provide sufficient volumes of all fertilisers needed for the domestic and regional markets.
Petrokemija's shares traded 3.23% lower at 72 kuna ($10.3/9.5 euro) by 11:06 CET on Friday on the Zagreb bourse.
