This marks the beginning of an investment that overall, together with own investments by OPTIX Infrastructure, will significantly exceed 200 million euro, Optix Infrastructure said in a press release.
In a separate statement, Optix Infrastructure said that it will invest over 200 million euro in establishing an optical network in rural areas of Croatia by the end of 2026.
The grants were signed with the ministry of sea, transport and infrastructure and the central agency for financing.
The deals concern 17 project areas, including the towns and municipalities of Bedekovcina, Cazma, Donja Stubica, Oroslavje, Gornja Stubica, Marija Bistrica, Stubicke Toplice, Veliko Trgovisce, Sisak, Zlatar, Jastrebarsko, Klinca Sela, Karlovac, Novi Marof, Varazdinske Toplice, Ogulin, Josipdol, Ozalj,Kutina and Krapinske Toplice.
RRF is a plan designed to help the EU member states recover from the coronavirus pandemic and invest in green energy and digitalisation.
