October 15 (SeeNews) - Croatian telecommunications regulator HAKOM said it has issued a permit to state-owned telecommunications services provider Odasiljaci i Veze (OiV) for the use of radio frequencies for the commercial operation of Digital Audio Broadcasting+ (DAB+) network in the country.
The permit was issued for a period from November 16, 2021 to December 31, 2036, HAKOM said in a statement earlier this week following a public tender for the use of radio frequencies for the provision of management services of digital radio that the telecommunications authority called in July.
OiV was the only bidder in the tender for the use of the 174-240 Mhz frequency band for multiplex MUX 1.
