In April sales of non-durable consumer goods increased by 8.0%, sales of intermediate goods went up 9.4% and sales of capital goods rose 5.6% on an annual comparison basis, the statistical office said in a monthly report. Energy sales decreased 13.1%, and sales of durable consumer goods dropped 6.3%.
On a monthly comparison basis, Croatia's total seasonally and working-day adjusted industrial sales increased 0.5% in April, after they dipped by a revised 0.4% in March.
Industrial sales in the Adriatic country increased 4.0% on the year in 2023, the same statistical has said earlier.
