Croatia's HEP to build 10.71 MW solar plant

June 6 (SeeNews) - HEP-Proizvodnja, the electricity generation arm of Croatian state-owned power utility Hrvatska Elektroprivreda (HEP), plans to build a solar power plant, Dubina, with an installed capacity of 10.71 MW in the northern Adriatic country Primorje-Gorski Kotar, the economy ministry said.

The company has submitted a request for an environmental impact assessment (EIA) of the plant, the ministry said in a statement.

The solar photovoltaic park will be built on a land plot of 14.7 hectares square metres in the municipality of Jelenje. Its estimated annual electricity production is 13.95 GWh.
