Croatia's foreign tourist revenue up 25% y/y in Q1

June 28 (SeeNews) - Croatia collected 825 million euro ($882 million) in revenue from foreign tourists in the first quarter of this year, up from 662 million euro in the prior-year period, the central bank said on Friday.

The revenue from international visitors accounted for 19% of the estimated gross domestic product (GDP) in the first quarter, the central bank said in a press release.

In 2023, foreign tourist revenue amounted to 14.598 billion euro, or 18.8% of GDP.
