Croatia’s 3. Maj starts building second pontoon for Viktor Lenac

June 10 (SeeNews) - Croatian shipyard 3. Maj Brodogradiliste [ZSE:3MAJ] said on Monday it has started building the second of two pontoons for local shipyard Brodogradiliste Viktor Lenac [ZSE:VLEN].

The first of two pontoons for the renovation of the Dock 11 of Viktor Lenac was launched on Saturday, it said in filing to the Zagreb bourse. It did not disclose details.

The project for the construction of the two pontoons is valued at some 17 million euro, which Viktor Lenac will finance with own sources, state TV broadcaster HRT cited the CEO of Viktor Lenac, Sandra Uzelac, as saying on Saturday.

Shares of Viktor Lenac traded 2.70% higher at 3.80 euro ($4.08) intraday on Monday on the Zagreb bourse. Shares of 3. Maj have not been traded there since August 2022.
