Croatian share indices rebound on gains in Koncar, SPAN

May 22 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange rebounded on Wednesday supported by gains in electrical equipment manufacturer Koncar Elektroindustrija [ZSE:KOEI] and software developer SPAN [ZSE:SPAN], bourse data showed.

The 21-share benchmark, the CROBEX, added 0.16% to 2,832.64 points, erasing its losses from the previous session.

The narrower equity index CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten issuers in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, climbed 0.12% to 1,702.09 points.

Exchange-traded fund InterCapital Euro Money Market UCITS ETF 7CASH [ZSE:7CASH] was the most traded issue with a turnover of 150,300 euro ($163,000) as its units closed 0.02% higher at 102.08 euro. It is not part of the main equity indices.

Shares of Koncar rose 0.78% to 258 euro in a turnover of 138,000 on the news that its unit won a 12 million euro deal in Sweden.

Shares of Span appreciated 0.62% to 49 euro in a turnover of 133,000 euro.

Sharers of luxury clothing producer Varteks [ZSE:VART] dropped 18.75% to 0.13 euro, after falling 11.11% on Tuesday, when its shareholders approved a plan to delist all of shares.

The total bourse turnover reached 2.6 million euro from 1.4 million euro a day earlier, boosted by a block deal of 1.1 million euro with shares of Slatinska Banka [ZSE:SNBA] and a 438,000 euro block deal with shares of Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT].
