January 10 (SeeNews) - The prices of dwellings in Croatia, measured by the house price index, rose 14.8% on the year in the third quarter of 2022, the country's statistical office said on Tuesday.
Compared to the second quarter of 2022, prices of dwellings increased by 2.8% on average, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics said in a quarterly report.
On annual level, prices of dwellings rose 17.9% in the capital Zagreb, 12.8% on the Adriatic coast and 13.9% in the other regions.
Compared to the second quarter of 2022, the prices of dwellings increased by 4.1% on average in Zagreb, 2.8% on the Adriatic coast and fell by 0.8% in the other regions in the period from July through September.
In the third quarter of 2021, the housing prices increased by 9.0% year-on-year and rose by 1.7% quarter-on-quarter.
