March 5 (SeeNews) - Croatia's Vrpolje municipality intends to build a 6.9 MW solar power plant, the economy ministry said.
The municipality has submitted a request for an environmental impact assessment (EIA) of the project, the ministry said in a statement.

The estimated value of the planned investment was not disclosed.
The solar plant will spread on 66,715 square metres. It is expected to generate 8,379 MWh annually. The electricity that it will produce will be fed into the national electricity system.
