China’s CCSC - Interconnect plans factory in Serbia - report

November 16 (SeeNews) - Chinese cable and wire harness manufacturer CCSC – Interconnect Technology Ltd. plans to build a factory in the southern Serbian town of Merosina in which it will employ 200 workers, local media reported.

China’s CCSC - Interconnect plans factory in Serbia - report

CCSC - Interconnect Technology will sign a memorandum of cooperation with Merosina's local government in January for the construction of a factory for cable connectors, news outlet Niske Vesti reported on Wednesday, without disclosing the estimated value of the investment.

Operations at the future factory are expected to start in the second quarter of 2025.

Founded in 1993, CCSC – Interconnect Technology makes connectors, complex cables and wires for industrial power applications, professional and outdoor lighting, green energy, agriculture, recycling, sales, climate control, healthcare, automotive, data and audio, according to its website. The company is headquartered in Hong Kong and has a European office in the Netherlands.
