March 28 (SeeNews) - Canadian e-commerce technology company Brio Commerce acquired Bulgarian shopify app startup Vanga AI to strengthen its digital commerce capabilities, the Canadian company told SeeNews on Tuesday.
The price of the deal is confidential, a spokesman for the Canadian company said in an email.

According to a recent LinkedIn post by Vanga AI founder Ruslan Leteyski, the transaction was carried out just 18 months after the inception of the startup.
Vanga AI is an application aimed to help entrepreneurs build an online business by automating upsells and cross-sells. The startup is the perfect fit in Brio Commerce’s strategy as it had strong results in terms of allowing store owners to upsell products online using an AI engine, Brio Commerce said. The transaction is aligned with the Canadian company’s accelerated growth strategy, building on existing capabilities in the areas of commerce and technology.
