June 24 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian heating utility company Toplofikatsiya - Pleven said on Wednesday that it has signed a 1.8 million euro ($2 million) deal to acquire three Wartsila gas engines from Turkey's Endustriyel Muhendislik ve Lojistik Hizmetleri.
The contract was signed on June 12, Toplofikatsiya - Pleven said in a statement.
As a result of Toplofikatsiya - Pleven's initial enquiry, the company received three offers for supply of the three gas engines it plans to acquire, but the price offered by Endustriyel was much lower than the rest, the heating utility company said previously.
MWM Austria offered to supply three TCG 2032 V16 engines for 4.1 million euro, while Stanex-PL offered three MAN Diesel & Turbo engines for 5.85 million euro.
