October 31 (SeeNews) - Toplofikatsiya Pleven, the heating utility servicing the Bulgarian city of Pleven, said that it intends to acquire a combined heat and power (CHP) installation from Poland's Cleveren Holding SP for 3.7 million euro ($4.1 million).
The installation is equipped with a 43 MW General Electric LM6000 PD turbine, the heating utility said in a notice.
Toplofikatsiya Pleven received two other proposals but their value significantly exceeded Cleveren Holding's offer.
General Electric proposed to supply a CHP installation to Toplofikatsiya Pleven for 11 million euro, while TEPCO Japan offered to supply the installation for $16 million.
