January 25 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian natural gas distribution company Overgas Mrezhi has agreed a 117 million euro ($142 million) loan financing from a syndicate of five banks, commercial register data shows.
The financing comprises a 100 million euro term loan, a 10 million euro investment loan, and a 7 million euro multi-purpose credit line, according to data entered into the commercial register earlier this month.
The lenders are the International Bank for Economic Co-operation, as well as Sofia-headquartered UniCredit Bulbank, Raiffeisenbank Bulgaria, DSK Bank, and Allianz Bank Bulgaria.
Several companies from the Overgas group are listed as co-debtors - Overgas Holding, Overgas Inc, SD Project and DDI Holdings Ltd.
Overgas Mrezhi has pledged assets and current and future receivables as collateral.
Last year, Russian energy giant Gazprom said that its board of directors approved a decision to divest its 50% direct and indirect interest in Bulgarian natural gas supplier Overgas for 15.5 million euro.
