November 18 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's sole nuclear power plant (NPP) Kozloduy said that it is gradually increasing the capacity of its 1,000 MW Unit 5 to 100% after reducing it to 50% following a temporary shutdown of a main circulation pump on Saturday.
The increase of capacity was initiated at 10:35 local time on November 17 after all necessary tests had been completed, confirming the reliability of the equipment, NPP Kozloduy said in a statement on Sunday.
NPP Kozloduy's other operating 1,000 MW Unit 6 is currently running at full capacity.
