October 7 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's municipally-owned Sofia subway system operator Metropoliten said that it awarded a 22 million levs ($13.2 million/11.2 million euro) electricity supply contract to local company Most Energy.

The volume could be increased by up to 50% depending on whether new subway stations are launched during that period.
The deal was signed on September 30,
The tender for awarding the contract attracted seven bids. The offers were ranked solely based on price.
