Bulgaria's Emka to pay 0.04 euro/share dividend for 2023

May 22 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian cables manufacturer Emka [BUL:EMKA] said its investors endorsed a gross dividend payout of some 0.084 levs ($0.047/0.043 euro) per share for 2023.

Starting July 10, Emka will distribute as dividend a total of 3.65 million levs out of its net profit of 8.66 million levs reported for last year, the company said in a bourse filing on Tuesday. The remaining earnings will be retained as undistributed profit.

The company paid out a gross dividend of 34.3 million levs for 2022, or 0.15789 levs per share in cash, as well as 21.7 million levs in the form of new shares to investors.

As of 1122 CEST on Wednesday, shares in Emka traded 1.92% lower at 2.04 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
