The agreement will open the opportunity for investment in hydro energy projects in the Serb Republic, the entity's energy ministry said in a press release on Thursday.
The parties to the agreement also discussed the possibility of working on solar and wind energy projects.
Interenergo and KI-KELAG have built three mini hydro power plants worth some 85 million marka ($47.9 million/43.5) in the Serb Republic via their Bosnian subsidiaries EHE d.o.o. Banja Luka and LSB Elektrane d.o.o. Banja Luka.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities forming Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
