Albania opens 4.7 mln euro power line tender

July 3 (SeeNews) - Albania’s power grid operator OSSH said on Wednesday it has opened tender procedures for the construction of a double-circuit power line connecting the substations of Kafaraj and Hoxhare in the country's southwestern part with an estimated budget of 473 million leks ($5 million/4.7 million euro).

Although the power line is set to carry 35 kV, its insulation must be able to transmit 110 kV for safety and future-proofing, OSSH said in a tender notice.

Prospective bidders are required to complete the project within 14 months from the start.

Offers can be submitted until July 18.
