Zagreb bourse main indices end lower in slim turnover

July 5 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) decreased on Friday, with diversified holding company Adris [ZSE:ADRS2] pacing the blue-chip decliners, as total trading turnover remained low, bourse data showed.

Adris' preferred shares shed 4.49% to 59.60 euro in a turnover of 39,998 euro ($43,299).

At the other end, IT company Span d.d. [ZSE:SPAN] was the biggest gainer, as its shares advanced 1.85% to 49.60 euro on Friday. The company also generated the highest trading turnover among the blue-chips - of 157,319 euro. The company said on Friday that it has signed an agreement to acquire further 30% stake in local peer Trilix, which will raise its total shareholding interest in the company to 90%.

The 21-share equity benchmark, the CROBEX, fell 0.46% to close at 2,813.13 points.

The narrower equity index CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten issuers in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, declined 0.77% to 1,680.81 points.

The regular turnover increased to 814,991 euro on Friday from 644,961 euro on Thursday.
