October 26 (SeeNews) - Waste Solutions Bulgaria, previously named FCC Bulgaria, signed two waste management deals worth a total of 12.3 million levs ($7.4 million/6.3 million euro) with the municipalities of Razgrad and Dobrich, public procurement agency data showed on Monday.
The larger contract, worth 9.5 million levs, was signed with Razgrad municipality on October 22, the municipality said in a notice to the public procurement agency.
The other deal, worth 2.8 million levs, was inked on October 14.
Waste Solutions Bulgaria submitted the sole bid in the tenders for each of the two contracts.
Last month, Bulgarian company Waste Management acquired FCC Bulgaria from Austria-registered FCC Environment CEE. FCC Bulgaria was subsequently renamed to Waste Solutions Bulgaria.
Waste Solutions Bulgaria is among the largest players on the Bulgarian waste management market.
