July 25 (SeeNews) - The Slovenian subsidiary of Italian lender UniCredit said it has sold its leasing business to a unit of UK asset manager APS Group.
The leasing entity will continue to exist and operate as before, UniCredit Banka Slovenija said in a short statement on its website on Friday.

Financial details about the deal were not disclosed.
UniCredit Group has reported a 22% rise to 8 million euro ($8.2 million) in its consolidated profit from operations in Slovenia in the first quarter of 2022.
APS Group was established in 2004 and operates mainly in the markets of Central and Southeastern Europe. The group is active in alternative asset management, real estate investments, and debt recovery. APS Group manages 99 non-performing loan portfolios with a total nominal value of over 9.9 billion euro.
At the end of 2019, APS and Balbec Capital bought UniCredit’s non-performing loan portfolio in Bulgaria, with a legal claim value of 50 million euro.
