March 30 (SeeNews) - UK-based software developer Amdaris said on Wednesday that it opened an office in the Bulgarian capital Sofia, its sixth global centre and the first one in the country.
The Bulgarian centre aims to hire over 50 people by the end of this year, the company said in an e-mailed statement. Amdaris added that it will offer employment to Ukrainian refugees with relevant skills.
"As one of the emerging IT capitals of Eastern Europe, the new Amdaris centre in Sofia will create new job opportunities for the growing pool of tech talent in the country. With software development remaining Bulgaria’s fastest-growing industry, Amdaris will also host various mentorships and internship programmes providing exciting opportunities for the next generation of tech talent," the UK company said.
Amdaris, founded in 2009, delivers innovative software development, application support managed services, and consultancy services from its headquarters in Bristol and its delivery centres in Eastern Europe. Outside of the UK, the company has offices across Ukraine, Romania, Moldova, and Dubai.
