ANKARA (Turkey), January 7 (SeeNews) – Passenger cars sales in Turkey increased 19.5% on the year to 664,655 vehicles in 2013, the Turkish Automotive Distributors' Association (ODD) said on Tuesday. Total automotive sales volume rose 9.7% year-on-year to 853,378 vehicles last year as sales of light commercial vehicles declined 14.8% to 188,723, the association said in a statement. In December alone automotive sales in Turkey grew 12.4% year-on-year to 129,718 vehicles as car sales rose 25.1% to 101,199 units and sales of light commercial vehicles decreased 17.3% to 28,519.
