Trace Group-led tie-up wins 83 mln euro Burgas road maintenance deal

July 9 (SeeNews) - A consortium led by Bulgarian civil engineering companies Trace Group Hold [BUL:T57] and Pytstroy VDH has signed a 161.6 million levs ($89.5 million/82.6 million euro) contract for road maintenance and repairs in the coastal region of Burgas, Trace Group said.

The contract was awarded by the Bulgarian Road Infrastructure Agency, Trace Group said in a stock exchange filing on Monday.

The consortium, TRP Burgas 2023, will carry out ongoing road works, current, preventive and winter maintenance, as well as emergency repairs for a period of four years.

Last month, a consortium led by Trace Group signed a contract to carry out road works and maintenance in the Stara Zagora region, with an indicative budget of 139.3 million levs.

Shares in Trace Group last traded on July 4 when they closed at 4.74 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, bourse data show.
