June 29 (SeeNews) - State-owned Telekom Srbija will begin offering its services in Germany next month as part of an expansion plan that includes Turkey and the U.S., Belgrade-based media reported on Thursday.
“On July 17, we will begin to sell our cards in Germany, online, through our portal and through twelve distributors, and we plan to open 30 branches within a year,” CEO Vladimir Lucic said in an interview with state broadcaster RTS.
“We realise that there is a huge potential in the diaspora because we have the content and digital services that they want. In addition to Austria, we expanded to Switzerland last year,” said Lucic.
Telekom Srbija users exceeded 11 million in 2022 and will double, he added without giving a timeframe.
Telekom Srbija has operations in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia and Montenegro.
