March 16 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Sofia municipality said that it opened a 4 million levs ($2.4 million/2.0 million euro) tender for the delivery, installation and maintenance of electronic traffic signs.
The project aims to improve road safety on the territory of the Bulgarian capital through the supply of electronic boards and variable-message signs, the contracting authority said in a tender notice on Monday.
Works on the project are planned to be completed within 24 months.
The deadline for submitting offers in the tender is April 12. Technical criteria will carry 60% weight in the overall ranking of the bids.
