Sofia-based VC fund BrightCap Ventures invests in Vedamo, Pliant

The amount of the two investments was not disclosed.

"We are very happy that BrightCap Ventures invested in VEDAMO and became part of our family. It will help us scale our growth plans, improve our product and bring more value for the educators across the world," Mihail Balikov, CEO at Vedamo, said in a statement last month.

Vedamo is currently focusing on the Western Europe, U.S., and Asia markets.

In its statement, Pliant said last month that it has secured additional funding for the company led by Gutbrain Ventures with participation from  BrightCap Ventures, Azure Capital Partners, and Timothy McSweeney.

Part of the funding will be used to support Pliant's continued innovation and development of its low-code/no-code automation platform. Pliant also plans to invest in accelerating its go-to-market strategy, including onboarding more marketing and sales support, it said.
