September 30 (SeeNews) - Slovenian insurance holding company Prva Group [LJE:PPDL] said its consolidated net profit rose 68.9% year-on-year to 4.2 million euro ($4.9 million) in the first half of 2021.
The group's net revenue from insurance premiums rose 1.9% to 10 million euro, while net expenditure for incurred claims increased 17.2% to 2.5 million euro, the company said in a statement with the Ljubljana bourse on Wednesday.
At the end of June, Prva Group had an overall 1.316 billion euro in assets under management, up from 1.118 billion euro a year earlier.
The number of its clients rose to 526,903 from 516,788.
Prva Group's core business is life and pension insurance. The group is present in Slovenia, North Macedonia, Serbia and Kosovo, comprising 3 pension insurance companies, one insurer and one firm active in trading in the insurance products of its sister companies.
