LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), September 17 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's state-owned lender Nova Ljubljanska Banka (NLB) said it has signed an agreement for the sale of 9,102 shares of pension insurer Skupna pokojninska druzba, representing 28.13% of its share capital, to local insurer Zavarovalnica Triglav.
Following the transaction, Triglav will become Skupna pokojninska druzba's sole owner, NBL said in a Ljubljana bourse filing late on Friday.
The price of the deal was not disclosed.
The capital impact of the transaction is not material for the NLB Group.
In a separate statement, Triglav noted that it sees the pension insurance market as promising with a growth potential in terms of an increased number of clients and a higher volume of accumulated assets.
