October 25 (SeeNews) - Slovenian port operator Luka Koper [LJE:LKPG] plans to dismiss its CEO and two members of its management board due to differences regarding the company's further development strategy, it said.
Luka Koper's supervisory board concluded an agreement with CEO Dimitrij Zadel and board members Metod Podkriznik and Irma Gubanec on the early termination of their management functions as of November 15, Luka Koper said in a bourse filing on Friday.
Zadel was appointed as CEO in December 2017, succeeding Dragomir Matic. He was previously the CEO of fuel retailer OMV Slovenija.
Luka Koper handled 10.4 million tonnes of cargo in the January-June period, up 2% on the year, with the most pronounced annual rise, of 25% to 541,030 tonnes, registered in the car segment. An overall 5.1 million tonnes of container cargo was processed in the period under review, up 7% on the year.
