January 12 (SeeNews) - Slovenian port operator Luka Koper [LJE:LKPG] recorded a maritime throughput of 23.2 million tonnes last year, up 12% from 20.8 million tonnes in 2021, it said on Thursday.
Container throughput increased to 1.018 million TEUs in 2021 from 997,574 TEUs in the preceding year, Luka Koper said in a bourse filing.
During the review period, the throughput of cars grew to 1.394 million units, from 656,477 in 2021.
Net revenue from sales went up by 38% to 309.4 million euro ($332.9 million), according to incomplete and non-audited data published by the port operator.
The company's shares traded at 25.60 euro, up 0.79%, by 0937 CET on Thursday on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange.
