April 4 (SeeNews) - Slovenian drug maker Krka [LJE:KRKG] plans to propose to its shareholders the payment of a gross dividend of 7.50 euro ($8.14) per share on 2023 earnings, 13.6% higher than last year's payout, it said on Thursday.
An overall 231.1 million euro from Krka's 381.9 million euro accumulated profit will be distributed as dividend, while half of the remainder will go to reserves and the other half will be carried forward to next year, Krka said in a filing with the Ljubljana bourse.
The annual general meeting of Krka's shareholders will be held on July 11.
Krka's shares closed flat at 127.50 euro on Wednesday on the Ljubljana bourse.
