Slovenia's KD Group buys 5.3% stake in Dezelna Banka

July 11 (SeeNews) - Slovenian financial services provider KD Group [LJE:KDHR] has signed an agreement to acquire a 5.3% stake in the capital of lender Dezelna Banka Slovenije (DBS) from Italy's Civibank, DBS said.

KD Group agreed on June 20 to purchase 228,289 shares in the capital of DBS from Civibank, DBS said in a filing with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange last week.

After the deal's completion, KD Group will no longer own any DBS shares, the Slovenian bank said.

KD Group held a 24.0% stake in the capital of DBS as of January 2024, according to data from the website of the Slovenian bank.

DBS is a universal bank with 76 branches spread throughout Slovenia.
