LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), September 13 (SeeNews) – Slovenian household appliances manufacturer Gorenje is seeking to employ 80 workers under fixed-term contracts by the end of October, local media reported on Friday.
The company has already hired 125 new workers since the middle of August in order to meet increased production needs, news wire Siol.net reported.
New workers are needed in all production units at Gorenje, particularly in the manufacturing of washing machines and tumble driers, Siol.net said.
China's Hisense Group which took over Gorenje last year has revealed plans to restructure the Slovenian company and its subsidiaries in order to provide for their long-term growth and development.
