April 30 (SeeNews) - Serbia's foreign trade deficit in the first quarter of 2018 widened 44.5% on the year to $1.528 billion (1.262 billion euro), data from the country's statistical office showed on Monday.
The country's exports rose 25.3% to $4.695 billion, while imports grew by 29.5% to $6.223 billion, the data indicated.
The export-import ratio dropped to 75.4% from 78.0% in the first three months of 2017.
The largest surplus was recorded in the trade with Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Macedonia, while the biggest deficit was in the trade with China and Russia.
