Month-on-month, retail sales fell by 4.5% in real terms in May after increasing by 5.4% in April, the statistics office said in a statement.
At current prices, retail sales grew 11.4% on the year in May and were 4.1% lower on the month.
In January-May, retail sales in Serbia went up by a real 7.7% and by a nominal 12.9%, compared to the first five months of 2023.
