March 8 (SeeNews) - Telecommunications operator Mtel, part of Telekom Srbija, plans to invest 50 million euro ($52.7 million) in the expansion of its operations in North Macedonia in the following two years, Vladimir Lucic, CEO of Telekom Srbija, said.
Mtel intends to hire at least 200 new employees in North Macedonia in the next two years, Lucic said, as seen in a video published by North Macedonia's government on Tuesday.
Mtel has invested 4 million euro in its operations in North Macedonia since its entry into the country in 2021. The company employs 80 staff and has over 16,000 users in the country.
The Telekom Srbija group is offering services to more than 11 million customers in the region and Europe.
