May 30 (SeeNews) - Serbia's industrial production rose by 2.3% on the year in April, driven by higher manufacturing output, the statistical office said on Friday. In April, the overall industrial output was 0.2% lower in monthly terms and 0.5% lower when compared to last year's average, the statistical office said in a data release. In annual terms, the manufacturing sector output grew 2.9% in April, mining production declined by 0.5%, while the output of the utilities sector remained unchaged. In March, industrial production in Serbia rose by an annual 6.9% and by a monthly 0.5%. In 2024, Serbia's industrial production rose by 3.1%.
